A family outing whilst I was at T'sek(Skook) H/s. I heard of...
7 or 8 kiddies and 2 adults went up to Sloquet for a daytrip.
They report back they could drive to about the 3 klm mark. Fullsize truck no modes.
From there they hiked thru patches of snow, some deep pockets.
Snow was patchy, snow then dirt road then snow again most of the way.
Spoke of many tree's being down across the road, some 30 -40 tree's.
Last section up to the campground was the hardest section with the most tree's and snow.

Updates for tubs

Robin Trethewey posted in St Agnes Wells and Sloquet Hot Springs Appreciation Society

Robin Trethewey 11:47am Apr 15
Good day all, I am back on this site after over a years absence. I have just spoken with the forestry recreation person overlooking Sloquet. The signs regarding the road closure (April-June) for the bear dens was put up in the wrong spot, it does not apply to the road into Sloquet. The pools will only be closed between the August and Labour Day long weekends while they clean up the pools of plastic etc.
I've talked with people in the last day whom went in there with a compact car so the road in is OK.
