Sweet rig , I've owned more than my fair share of explorers , have a ranger now but I've had a bunch of them too as well as bronco 2s

Is it a 5 speed ? The auto trannys don't hold up so well

auto.
Ive heard autos dont hold out so well. Perhaps a 5 speed swap when and if the tranny dies before the engine.

I do have a new filter and fluid to do a change but havent got around to it...
I tend to be gental with the throttle and 4lo on trails...

Looking to get out on some new tricky tails this weekend

I gotta find a right up on a swap...
What all i need.

Not sure what will go first though, engine or transmission...
Im deffently taking my spec v sentra up to okanogan instead :P
But pretty sure rear timing guides are gone rattles pretty good
And i have zero voltage to my 02 sensors so gotta check the wiring before reaplcing them all- HORRIBLE on gas right now tank is huge and gets me MAYBE 350 if i baby it all.

Thanks for the likes!!!!

few weeks after i got it.... there was a huge can of bear spray in the back. never thought of removing it... but it eventually blew up spraying the rear seat. what a horrible experience, driving home from abbotsford was painful. Cleaned most of it. i think it wore off the steering wheel etc havent had any issues. sept a friend was in the back holding onto the rear of the seat and rubbed his eyes XD.

So ill be replacing the rear half of the seat and the carpet in the rear...!

We did a swap on a 95 explorer sport for a guy

Stuff you require
-tranny
-clutch/slave
-flywheel
-starter
-wireing harness for the tranny ( my bro managed to get the reverse lights and everything working useing wireing diagrams)
-we also had to swap the computer but you will want one from the same year truck as ford loved to change there wireing on a yearly basis
-shifter
-pedal assembly
-clutch master
-we also put a 5 speed center consol in it

Think that's about it , took us a weekend to compleat

If and when you want to do it let me know more than willing to lend a hand or give advice

As for your bear spray incident that must have just sucked , did you get out before it blinded you

I'm not sure on the rad thing I've never seen them mounted in a different spot , if you have a body lift it may have the rad drop brackets on it to lower it so its in front of the clutch fan , in that case you could remove the brackets and use an electric fan instead
