WANTED: Somewhere to camp "off the beaten path"

Hey Fun in BCers,

Living in the Fraser Valley, I have seen stickers on your trucks quite a bit. When it came to finding a solution to my predicament, I knew who to contact.
My friends and I go camping every year on Easter long weekend. Our usual spot is near Tunkawa Lake just outside of Merrit, BC. Sadly, our treasured gem is closed down and we can no longer access it. They've turned it into an ecological wetland/reserve which is blocked off and patrolled.

We are in need of a new/awesome place to go camping. Preferably in the interior, like Princeton/Merrit distance away from the Fraser Valley. We need space that is big enough for our large vehicles, will allow us to have large bonfire with wood that we can gather/cut down, far enough away for us to have a good time without causing problems, somewhere we can dirt bike and do some skeet shooting.

Ideally, we want something that is wide open but slightly secluded. Nothing that requires a rock crawler to get to (forest service roads OK) and something that isn't too high - Easter is early this year.

Any ideas would be helpful!

Thanks,

A.

Classy girls don't post pictures of their tits in forums
Figured I'd try and appeal to the infinite knowledge of explorers, if you don't have any ideas that's cool but it was worth a shot!

Cheers

I have a few ideas. The placer lake turn off is a good spot. Right on the river and lots of places to explore. It's just after east gate of manning park. I could give you more detail if your interested

Another idea is the back roads map book. Lots of good info in there

I dig the Duck Dynasty reference, one of my favorite shows - how's that for an introduction?

Awesome! Thanks for the imput!
We have a back roads map, but I wanted to see if there were spots that people would recommend...you know, without me having to flash my boobs .
I would love more detail on the Placer Lake turn off!
