? on a 2000 jeep cherokee

is there anything different from a cherokee(xj) and a cherokee(xj) military.Body wise is the same.would there be anything different about the running gear.

Not shure but it could be 24 volt
Used to be everything made for military was 24 volt
That way no one tried to boost 12 volt with 24volt
Same radios and equipment for whole fleet
Don't know if that changed it of not

don't listen to Derick hes a toy guy and their just jealous because they spend thousands on there toys to go to the same place we xj guy's go for next to nothin.

shouldn't be any difference . maby better springs or tow package.

about all the difference you will find is that some military spec XJ's will have a 2.5 turbo diesel (VM Motori 425 OHV) motor other than that everything else would be roughly the same as civilian use. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeep_Cherokee_(XJ)

those deisels they came with are junk imo..........always had problems with them when i worked at the stealership
