in the past i would have told you what ive always been told and that is aluminum wheels arn't as strong as steel one they crack instead of bending.
but awhile ago i watched the myth busters test just that theory and from what i saw aluminum was the better choice so i say giver . just better show at the chug you so don't tear it all down right now okay.

Hub centric means the load is centred on the hub
the lugs basically just hold the tire on ie no lateral load on lugs it is all taken by the centre ie your Hubs

do you just need a set of rims to put tires on or are you after a specific look?

what i did was call les schwabb in omak washington, but any should do, and just ask for a basic steel wheel and give the specs. for my 15x12, 8x6.5 pattern with i think a 4" backspacing was 75-80ish dollars a piece. this was probably in 06 area so things may have drastically changed but always worth just a call to see what they or any other tire shop can do

also, the shipping to canada may be free (normally its only to usa thats free but if they offer canada, great!) however UPS and FEDEX and others will charge a brokerage fee, basically a fee to bring it through customs, that tends to be in the order of ridiculous and lunacy. get it shipped to the boarder and cross over yourself if money is of a concern.

You really need to check what the load rating for the wheel is
And then think that rating is with a 30 inch tire not a 38
Will aluminum wheels crack yes they will if there over loaded
Or hit
Overweight broke one of the alloys on my one ton remember
Most alloys have a max tire size
