Mazda 4x4

Just bought a 91 Mazda and when you hit the brakes they seem to lock right up.
They get better the more you use them?

Anyone got any ideas why?

if its rears you most likely have a wheel cylinder leaking brake fluid onto yer shoes and you would get lock up fer sure.

ps: there's no Mazda room so

this or possibly gear oil on shoes from leaky axle seal

when forklifts sit for awhile the brakes get touchy. i just ride them for a bit. but dont over heat them

Yea if its been sitting the rotors and drums are probably rusted up will take a bit to smooth them back out and make them less touchy
