its a car, dont hate me

my winter beater $200 bucks, did a little rust repair and some fixing, I've got everything to raise it 3.5" just need an evening, and get some bigger tires under it , have a rear lsd to install just need axles. And wire up the center diff to lock with a switch, should be fun for gravel/backroads in the offseason, or sidetrips when I dont have my jeep etc. dont laugh at my australian car please.

you may or may not know, but make sure you drop the engine and tans Xmember as well as the rear diff as much as you raise it, those DONT like cv angles much more than stock, also the lift blocks at the strut towers have to be angled to maintain proper camber. I raised mine an inch and it wasnt so bad, I was still able to get an alignment, but 3 would be an issue.

also note, if you can get outback struts OR coilovers, you can run a taller tire. you can raise it to the sky and cut the fenders, but you only have so much room between the hub and the lower spring perch on the strut. I have coilovers on my impreza, so I could run whatever, I have a 225/60/16 which is stock outback size. My forester is stock height, and has 215/70/16 and they dont really fit, the backs are at 60% and they fit, but when I had the %90 that are on the front on the back (stupid tire shop) they rubbed, put them on the front and they just fit. needless to say I can never put a brand new set of 215/70 BFG ATs on it.

you have prolly seen one of my mechanics ripin around, Blue WRX 4" lift 28"s full skid plate and 26lbs of boost. I belive he used forrester struts to lift his. Can be seen pulling a sled trailer with 2 turbo cats on board. Lifted Subaurus are the teh shit but im partial to the Loyal.

No , I don't believe I have seen it yet! sounds Impressive!! I've got a small collection of subaru blocks, heads and turbos, but not the time or money to make it all happen, so for now I dream haha. Is It that crazy white[peaks guy Gerry?

Loyales are the shit. I used to have a loyale with a 2.2l legacy motor in it, man that ripped, way quicker than a loyale or a legacy. A friend of mine CNC cuts adapters to put EJ motors on EA transmissions to either put an EJ in a loyale, or put a true 4x4 transmission with a little low range into a legacy.
