1989 Ranger build

Figured i might as well start a build thread, been picking away at this things for about 2 months now just been to lazy to start a thread .

-93 exploder 4.0l/5speed(did this when i bought the truck about 5 years ago)
-xj hp d30
-5.5" re xj coils
-custom dom 3 link with johny joints at frame end of lowers
-exploder disc brake 8.8
-gonna run 4:10's to start cuz there cheap and prob 33's
-chebby 63"s with bottom leaf removed and bds add a leaf
-new cab mounts
-thicker exploder rad
-think im gonna do a custom dom steering with heims as tre's
-gonna modify the stock xj track bar with some dome and a heim at the frame end

Thats all i can think of for now, ill post some pics in the next couple of days, none of them will upload at the moment.

Im not using a d30 to gain strength. I chose the 30 because it was free, and it will flex a hell of a lot better than the ttb. A 44 would be overkill for me, for what im after and the amount of money and time i want to spend on it the 30 will be just fine.

wasnt really a strength thing
wanted to get away from the unit bearings
and get it so it was servicable and have locking hubs
it would probably still have the 30 under it
but buddy got a killer deal on a built 9 inch and the 44
looks like you have a pretty good start
