At what point would it be safe to assume the bears have gone away for the winter (in the lower mainland)?

with our usual short winters they dont hibernate as long as they used too. ive seen bear in mid december

Im thinking even if the bears arent a big threat (with all the reading I've done, it doesnt even look like one has to be overly concerned with black bears... unlike grizzlies) I think Ryan would rather I have bear spray anyways, so yup... up goes the ipod Lol

BEARS !!!

As it seems that the Loal BEARS dont go away for a winter Vacation! maybe you should !!!!. Just think 3 months in FLORIDA, HAWAII, MEXICO,or ????.
