Tracker lift

Anyone got a list of junk yard sourced parts to put a lift in a tracker? other than a body lift. Buddy picked one up for a cheap economical hunting rig, I'm telling him to put a little bit of a lift some bigger boots and a small homemade winch bumper and then call it done. has anyone experimented with what works and what doesn't ? thanx Neil

Thanx gents, Pm sent to mudchild and if 4 runner coils are used about how much of a spacer is used in the front ? Won't the castor/camber go to shit if just spacers are thrown in ?

Could you not use 4 runner coils at each corner?

You guys that are tracker fans, What are the desired ones ? the best years auto or standard ? you know the drill. Thinking of one of these for myself now, combined with a mudchild lift and 31's gonna be a good hunting rig.

I'm buying a 4 door 5 speed in the next few weeks. Want to do the 2" calmini lift and run some 29 or 30" tires to keep some power as it will br my daily driver and want to do some highway driving to my hunting spots. I want to spend a little money on the lift so the front caster doesn't eat the new tires I plan on putting on it. The calmini lift had nice control arms that fix the angle once lifted. What gear options do these have? I'll be doing some research on doing a junkyard gear swap

Just read that most 5 speeds came with 5.12's, and the 5:38's are very uncommon. The next step is a 5.83 but that's if your running a 33" plus tire. I'll be fine with 30"s and the stock 5:12. Will save me some cash that ill be able to put into lockers

Caster is not the issue when installing lifts in these trucks it's the camber that is affected. I use camber alignment bolts to correct the camber when installing one of my lift kits. Here is a link to them: http://www.srcustoms.ca/index.php?pa...mart&Itemid=56

i got 2" bl 2" coil spacers offset rims with 30" tires,2" exhaust so it breathes better any higher than 2" coil spacers and not doing anything to front end and you will be buying CV axle as they break alot
