i have an 8,8 in my xj and i've bent three stock axleshaft and have just bent another. will a chromoly hold up to bending at the flange or is chromoly more to prevent snappage? I dont remember doing anything any of the times to bend them.

i dont think its a problem with the housing. its been one side or the other over the last couple seasons. its not like its a constant problem bending them it just happens. just trying to find out if chromos will help with bending at the flange
