Davis lake

I have heard that you are not allowed to drive around Davis lake. Has anyone been fined for driving down there? I was down here a few weeks ago and then was told I was lucky to not get a ticket.

If they did that, than who would they be able to give $1000 fines to. Something has gotta pay for all those shiny, new, hybrid suburbans.
