Good idea. Those cabins are awesome. I stayed in the larger one and stopped in at the one that burnt down, back when I lived in Kelowna. Lotsa great memories.
Hope there's no more vandals

forestry is fukd. I know they burnt down one that Dr800 helped put up in the middle of but fuk now where but we all knew about and if we got in trouble it was some shelter to hell and gone from help. I was shocked when I went to Espron lk with Dr a few years ago and the fawkers had burnt down all the old moony cabins. I used to camp/party there with friends 30 yrs ago. WTF. Another one of those places I would head to for shelter is things went to shit late season hunting. Would be screwed to get there when your in trouble and theres nothing. What the hell is forestry thinking derstroying the saftey network that used to be in the bush threw out the okanagan. Yup im the idiot that might get in trouble pushing my luck but never was too worried about it when you knew where I was and whats around me. Thanks forestry for taking that from us. When someone dies cause of it......... hope you rot in hell.

Did I mention that forestry really pisses me of burning cabins...not saying they did the dog house.

Forestry -employing people who have degrees in outdoor management just have never been there . If you wheel and work for them your probably not making the decision to torch cabins so no offence to any outdoors lovers.
