New driver from richmond.

Just kidding.

Hi I'm Mark. Been building drift cars in ontario since I was 15, recently moved to BC a couple years ago, and just got into building trucks.

Traded an e30 I built for a 93 4runner... learned a bunch, drove it a lot./.. ended up selling it and started restoring/building an 85 pickup.

I got it about 3 weeks ago stock except for some shitty 33's. It had been abused all its life. Cracked frame (4 places), ABS snorkel, stave mud EVERYWHERE, seized rear shackles, disgusting fluids, exhaust leaks, etc etc etc.

Cut the rear frame off, built a new one out of 2x4 .120w stock. Bobbed/doved, hung desert-truck style. Relocated gas tank, ran new lines. Rebuilt front and rear axle, 5.29's, nitro spool in the rear. Regular maintenance all around.

Steering is getting tackled on monday. Going to do a ylink low steer to keep it low with an IFS box. Currently on 35in KM2's.

I like fab work, and have really been enjoying exploring the semi-local trails. Hope to get out a lot more this summer.

Hmm. I don't think so. The topic was a joke... I definitely wouldn't drive my truck around richmond. I'd be VI'd in a second.

Thanks for the warm-ish welcome boys. Glad to see there is a bit of heep rivalry here.
