it costs $20-$30 to get something notarized. just type up a letter saying all materials were in your dad's shed for 20 years.

im going through this right now, they want receipts for frame, decking, axle, rims, and tires if you dont have all of them then you need to go to an autoplan agent and get a form that needs to be signed by a notary and a description on wher you got parts and material, not a big deal just a pain in the ass.

I asked my insurance agent about this last week, in her words "you can bring in hand written receipts" hint hint!

I was concerned about a ubuilt I haven't insured in 2 years and she says no problem to re-insure. ICBC wants their tax money on all trailers factory or ubuilt.

Fee here, tax there, everything to make an extra buck, but because its only 30 or so bucks we shouldnt complain. Lets say they register 10,000 a year in bc so they make $300,000 off bc residents, taxing stuff thats already been taxed

Maybe im bitter they just pulled my license, never an accident never a dui but got 5 speeding tickets working out of town last year, paid 196 a ticket for each, $1,800 for point penalty, had paid whatever licence fee is last year, had to pay 100 for a letter to appeal it which reduced it from 5 months to 3, have to pay 100 plus full licence fee to get it back which is only good for 2 years, and a single ticket in that term and its gone immediately. AGAIN NEVER HAD AN ACCIDENT OR DUI in 16 years of driving!!!! but im an unsafe driver!

I know you don't want to hear this but you deserved every penny you paid AND speeding DOES make you an unsafe driver. I don't care if you have skills like Andretti. Your actions can cause OTHERS to crash and be killed. In the towing biz I have met MANY drivers who have never had a DUI or Accident until the day it happens and they don't understand why. SLOW DOWN
