it bolts in

He has a custom OTT adapter from the Nissan t-case to a D300 giving him the right side drop for the yota front end.

But before you start modifying yours, have a look under the back seat. VERY common spot for those things to have cancer.

To be honest, for what you are doing. Get a set of 32-33" mud tires, cut up your fenders and weld up the rear. Slap some armour on, go have hours of fun!

Don't do a solid axle swap unless you have a years worth of downtime pre-booked with the truck. Because with a SA swap, all the little shit gets ya.

I've already been sitting on the idea for about 3-4 maybe even 5 years now. The cancer is minimal, very back of the frame and is fixable. BUT i also have another pathy on the mind which only has wheel well cancer. I have no problem having it off the road for a while, as long as it needs to be. I also have a cherokee sitting in my driveway right now to get me to and from the lake as well as ready to tow the bikes.

They won't work without modifications.
wrong side drop on the front axles.
So, you would either need to cut and turn or run an adapter and other T case rather than the nissan.

Sell it and get a 4 runner, there are tons of aftermarket parts available for them.

I not sure how much there is for nissan, but it seems to be getting better.

Titan rear end is a Dana 44. why would you do that? the should have used the H260.

VG30 are AWESOME engines, mated to a better manual tranny.

But ya, the torsion bars are not so good. holes under rear seats only happen in road salt situations.

the stock 6 cyl rear is very good. you said titan.

The H233b behind the v6's (hardbody, pathfinder, xterra) were good rears, comparable with a ford 9".

The Dana44 in the titans was just a dumb idea by nissan, they were working on the american market.. hey look.. we have an american build d44 back there.

well, whats gona happen to that poor D44 with over 300 horse and a 7K lb trailer behind it? BOOOOOM
