Heep maintenance

So for those of you unfortunate enough to hear my motor squeek, i fixed that....

Pulled the valve cover

Ooooh rusty

So I proceeded to fill a bucket with seafoam and individully dunked all the rockers and and pushrods... You would not believe the shit that came out of the rusty ones!

Anyhow at that point it started fucking raining to i put a tarp up and rushed it all back in and forgot to get a finished pic... But after an oil change boy does it sound nice now... Ran it for 30 min. Unfortunately now that i fixed the loudest noise i can hear the quieter ones that were hidden before

Anyway next was diffs

Front diff had grey goo

Rear diff looked pretty good (compared to front)

Pressure washed, wire wheeled, solvent tanked, and finally sandblasted diff covers

Green primer (same color as maple leaf on hatch, not sure what color to finalize with........ Silver? Ideas??)

I'm off to the paint store right now to see the colors they have.... Any ideas what color to paint them??? Go fast red? Silver like the sandblasted look?

White truck btw (unless covered in mud)

Never did get around to extending breathers gonna do that friday but i got some other shit done

Plugs wires cap rotor (holy fuck was it easy and fast to do with inline 6)

H4's.... Got a couple shots of em cause their so badass... Gotta aim them when its dark out...

Old halogen left ...new h4 on right.... The old one looks brighter but it isnt... Just got a film on it so it reflects on itself

H4

Some big ass 3/4" plate D-Ring brckets imma weld on saturday...

Stinger mocked into place on rough cuntry bumper...

Didnt bolt it on cuz ill be damned if 4 holes on the top dont line up and apparently the heads o the bolts holding the bumper on... I put em in backwards cuz now the nut interferes with the stinger bolts.... So i figure i can tighten 6/10 bolts and just fuckin weld it.... Damn RC...

Gotta relocate my fogs somewhere now too... Hmm

Now that you have the H4s you better upgrade your wiring or you'll end up like me with a fried headlight switch in the dark pissing rain driving back to camp with a flashlight dying quick.

I'll try to find the link I used when I did mine but just doing the wiring will make your lights brighter.

Wire the headlights through a relay (actually 4 relays, one for left lowbeam, right lowbeam, left highbeam and right highbeam)

Here's the one I did but I used 4 relays, think I used 30s for low and 40s for high

Thanks dude i definately plan on doing that when i get some
More cashflow for better bulbs etc... Right now im running visionX H4's for 20 bucks.... Same wattage as stock lamps... So my H4's can be brighter with PIAA's and wiring..... but i dont think i gotta worry about melting stuff with the low power bulbs

It's a good idea even with regular bulbs, stock switches are pretty weak
