Always have a Mickey in the glove box incase you get lost. Ask a bus driver if in doubt they will point u in the right direction. Maybe I'll get my bag of bk and hide by the campus and trick you guys

when modern tech fails and it always does you should always have a simple basic backup so learning how to use a compass is a great skill to have

Good for you Aaron.
Take the course and learn.
But for what it's worth, there are allot of great resources on the internet.

As far as GPS?

I'd rather rely on a map, compass, and an altimeter to know where I am!
No batteries required.

Gps makes it easy but everyone should know how to use a compass and read a map, maybe even make a simple compass if they are going to be in the bush it really is not that hard......crist even I can do it .
