Look up and follow the stars. Be a great course 60 years ago. Hope you can find your $ back with compass after the course.

I can show you how to use your compass on the spudspudspudspudspud run if you want... save your $
I had to lead dives using a compass and only got lost once in 300 dives as a guide (GPS doesn't work underwater)

you have? I normally only take it hunting. I also know how to use a Map and compass. I've done a couple outward bound courses and you depend only on map and compass to guide.

I use to take a map and compass on the hunts but not once used it. Now I just take extra batteries or make sure it's charged. If the GPS gets low then I just turn it off and only one when I need a point of reference.....I've done that a few times

I could tell you a campfire story of hunting and being lost (short term) without a gps OR a compass.....that sucked and I make sure that will never happen again
