Tailgate Window Stuck

Im 99% sure the motor works, but i can see the rails are rusty as hell, anyone have experience or anyway to go about fixing this?

The windo slides into the removable top, so my tailgate is useless and if i took the top off i risk breaking the glass...

should be brackets on the bottum of the glass get them undone and u should beable to lower the glass down might need help though if I remember its a pretty thick piece of glass and then pull the tailgate down then slide the glass out then the rails should beable to be pulled out and cleaned up

welcome to owning a blazer
the side rails should have a felt guide in them
and be carefull unbolting the glass its heavy and could drop suddenly
catching your hand block it up with a couple pieces of 2x4 before undoing bolts
but id leave it until its warm out like summer time before messing with it

i would ideally like a soft top, but i like carrying passengers... why did they mount the rear seat-belts to the removable hard top?

that must be in the newer models my dads was lap belts that had the male end of the belt mounted on the outer side of the seat so u could fold the back of the seat down then lift the back up
