The park covers a pretty small area of Sylvester relatively speaking. it does suck but There's still plenty of trail outside the boundries.

Frankly I hope they do crack down a bit on the shooters. I like plinking a few too, but I feel like I need a vest when I'm up there.

I shoot up there from time to time, the safe way...and I totally agree, everytime I drive outtta there I feel like im about to get shot in the forehead. I wonder if there would be a way where the province would let the 4x4 clubs in, Because I highly doupt the Province will be cleaning up there Georgous lake....

Well... someone's a negative nancy today.

I'm suprised no one's been inclined to head up there with a shop vac or a garden vac. That brass has to be worth something.

The more they shut down areas, the more it will funnel people into less spots. Everything gets overrun.
The reason things were so much nicer a long time ago, was because there was so many more areas to go, traffic was spread over more areas.

Population 20 years ago was what, 3 million less than now?
As you said it will be overrun.

As for the government cleaning it up LOL
They need our taxes and insurance money to buy boats and fancy houses for themselves.

not being negative just stating a fact
think the only place they cleaned up was eagle before they shut it down
and its a water shed
and really the cleanup was hauling 22 vehicles out
not all the garbage

In all reality it dosent matter how many cleanups you do where ever if they wanna shut it down then they will, Davis has been closed for a long time, hence the gate! But people just go around and make trails in,

they will shut it down and ppl will just make new trails around the gate, threw the ditches and over the rocks. trees will be cut down to get around.
Are they shutting it down Just at davis Or right where the gravel begins?
