I heard it was a drunk quader tring to get away from the conv.officer and lost it going over a bridge and landed face first in the creek and smashed up his face real good.......

Sorry I'm terrible with names but thanks to you all know him and his wife....they drive the sahara jeep with the horns on the hood if it wasn't for them taking care of him and keeping him stabalized until the chopper and proper Authotities got there, the guy might not have made it..

I'm sure they'll post up about it.....if not I just wanna say they rockthey went out of there way to make sure he had a second chance...

I cant say he was drunk but had a few. He was real lucky he was not hurt more than he was. We were not heroes just helped to stabilize him and keep him warm until the chopper came. He landed in the creek and was knocked out. It will be awhile before he is feeling great again but he is alive. Another case for wearing a helmet on the quad. Hope he is ok and gets better fast.

Lucky man and hope he fully recovers. It great thing about many of the people
that use our outdoors, they are usually willing to give/offer help when needed. You deserve a big pat on the back for stepping up and helping like that....good on you

WOW!! good on ya fer helpin'.. Where u following him or somthin? how did u even see that he was in the creek?
reminds me of a time up burma rd. i was in the lil creek fillin up a water bottle for my overheating truck and i hear skidding sounds/ screams and the second i look up, Here comes a samarai hurdling over the edge of the road and into the creeek right where i stood. it flipped and pinned a guy under the rollbar IN the creek where a buddy and I had to help him an the 2 others out and wait for help.

Scary stuff but thankfully theres still some decent ppl out there

sucks for that guy, glad you were there to assist..

story could go on forever im sure - if he was indeed trying to out run COfficer then the CO would have been right close by to call it in we'd or hed had hoped

bottom line is - hit, hurt, recover (thank jeebuzz on that last one)

still ...sucks to be that guy

i love and hate quads, heres another reminder to me not to go get one (was thiiissss close too)
