Did a google search to cure my insomnia. It looks like yes is the answer for you, but that you'll be tearing it completely apart to change tailshafts. Great in the end as you will have a completely rebuilt tranny.

yup unlike gm ford made the outut shaft different between 2 and 4wd
a 351 400m has the same bellhousing bolt pattern as 460
might make it easyer to find one

Ford make 2 different tail shaft for the 4x4 c-6 , ones about 7.25 other is about 9.25 . Thought long one was a 2 wheel minus tail housing .

think long one is for 205 and short is the chain drive case
