New Top end on the Dragon

sleds at 1900miles now so i figured i would put in new pistions and rigs to avoid having to buy cylinders. Sled ran kick ass and pulled hard. Broke it down on tuesday and found the top end to be fuct $250 turned into $1500

also replaced intake boots om the injection ect, took it out for the 1st test ride. runs just as good as it did before. although i get 100 more rpm now. Sweet upgrade

Hmm, I've read nothing good about the '08-'10 800 Poos, lots of top end issues. Even Mainjet admitted they had problems.

We'll see how the new ones are for reliability, just traded off my '07 700 Dragon on a '12 RMK 800 155". Did a decal delete as soon as I got it home too, might get the side panels painted flat black to match the hood.

Ha ha! Not enough snow to test 'er out fully and was set up pretty hard out in the open stuff. First impression was it didn't feel any better at boondocking then my Dragon but we'll see when it gets into a couple feet of fresh snow. Definitely has a noticable power gain over the 700 so I'm looking forward to making it work in the deep stuff when we do get it.
