6 liters are a good engine, its just the factory emission garbage that causes them all the issues like blowing head gaskets and burst egr coolers.

There are kits and things you can do to the 6 litrers to make them 'bulletproof'

They also use a variable geometry turbo which spools up quicker than a 7.3 turbo.

That being said i still own a 7.3 truck

6litre good
yea good for ford makin money on waranty work
those trucks need velcro cab mountsbudys has been off at least 7 times
and the turbo rebuilders love the variable vane turbo it keeps them buisy
oh and i drive a cummins to bad about the full of plastic shit box it comes wraped in
and if you think ford or gm are any better give yor head a shake

Everything about your Dodge is junk.
Just because the motor is half decent its still a piece of shit........

Ive owned my share of trucks and my 02 F-350 with a 7.3 pulls and goes better than any cummins junk.

So you should shake your head and remember your opinion is only a opinion and not the gospel the way you make it sound.

I think theres good points and bad points in all of them.
How they are looked after makes a diffrence , plus where they are used and what for.
