Is it a Powerstroke or just a 7.3?

used a non-turbo once to pull a 47' trailer around.

that was asking a little much of it.

but seems to be a good engine

why is it in the dodge section?

and a 1994 could be a 7.3 Indirect Injection (IDI) TURBO model, there was one or two years with that engine, kinda rare but ive seen a couple

i believe 1994.5 is when the Direct Injection Powerstroke came out

just something you might wanna check out before purchasing

I had one of those , it was a good truck.
More power than the 7.3 but not as much as the Powerstroke.

All you Dodge suckers should enjoy this good Ford thread in your section .............

I had a 89 with the non-turboed 7.3 was a decent truck decent milage decent power, almost 400,000 kms, replaced it with a 96 ram with 5.9 cummins and just under 400,000 kms, the cummins runs strong but everything else on the truck is falling apart kinda wish I kept the old ford never had a single problem with it.

the magnum 2500 will get u about 11 mpg, my 7.3 was about 19 (guy I sold it to swapped an injector new glowplugs and 35's and claims hes getting about 24 now), cummins is about 20-25 depending how I drive it. My experience will all three anyways my dodges both have 4.10 gears and the ford had 4.56, all three had 5 speed manual trannies
