I've got flares but is it really law to have flaps as well? I pulled into McDs across from Semiahmoo (White Rock) RCMP while a cop was pulling out and he showed far to much interest in my truck but didn't hassle me. Anything else besides flares and flaps do i need to be aware of? My dealer just did a safety check and all is well .

Anyone know how the piggies treat rigs with just permits (ie weekend permit) on it during their fun little VI sprees?

As long as u have ur tires covered (flairs) and mud flaps, make sure ur window isn't cracked, u should be fine, and your lift kit, don't tell them it's anymore than 4" lift, or they will give u a vi really quick,

Rules have changed now, you can have tires sticking out, and no flares, but gay mud flaps are required, seems too many people complained about the big rigs when they are bob tailing, they don't always have fender flares, but they do have mud flaps and they get away with it.

they may have changed the rules but won't change the cops
I would try to keep tires covered one less obvious reason for them to pull you over
I know there was a few guys given VIs on the long weekend
for exposed tires
remember a cop can write a vi without a real reason don't give them a reason
