the DOT guy looked at my truck for less than 5 min and ran out of space on his paper . "excessive rust/body damage, non engineered driveshaft (my square front one) cracked frame, no mud flaps, no fender flares, no rear bumper, modifed susspension exceeding 4"

all of that is easy to fix, just the frame is holding me up.

the biggest piss off is i had most of this week off and was planning on fixing all those little things. flat deck it (the box was their concern) fender flares, mud flaps etc.

next truck that got pulled over after me was a newer F350 that was lifted.
the tow truck driver was pretty nice though, he thought what they were doing was crap too.

they seem to be anywhere and everywhere. i havent been bugged in a long time . but i also make sure the flares and flaps are always on . . i dont drive my truck except to go wheeling . less time on road less chance of vi. sometimes cops have vi'd people with new barely lifted trucks for no flares or a light out. my bf works for clover so he sees and hears it all from the cops .i dont think its fair to target trucks for being lifted but they dont care what i think
