Question anyone know bikes?

long story short, snapped throttle cable, took it out, put new in, and now it doesnt run. old 2 stroke set up, i think i may have put the carb part together wrong( my buddy took cable out and forgot how to put in) wondering if anyone who knows older bikes well could help out for beers and such. its a 74 DT125 2 stroke with oil injection.

usually you can adjust the the needle in the carb barrel where the cable hooks up.If it ran before and doesn't now I would think you reassembled it wrong.
Try digging up a how to on you tube or a bike forum, all those old carb's were pretty similar. Also if that bike has an oil tank I would disconnect it and premix your gas

Not sure if this is the same as my old bike but I remember that sleeve that slides in the carb has a groove up it. Inside the carb on the wall was a little nub. Just make sure the nub goes in the groove and it will slip right together.

Hope this helps

2 strokes need a really strong spark

seriously just try a plug and see what happens

my 400 has killed so many plugs and i still put em in my lawn mower cause they still have spark just not enof to burn the oil

they have to have a very bright blue spark

toss a new plug bet she will fire right up
plug t hats in it is priobly all fouled up
