Ramcharger

So, a buddy of mine was asking.
He has an 81 ram charger, with a 318.

What is the cheapest, easiest way to convert it to TBI?

He asked about carbs, but wants to wheel it. I informed him that if you want to wheel it, then ditch the carb.

i know UU uses a 350 TBI setup on his 360, but thats the end of what i know.

just grab a wiring harness, computer, and the intake from another 318 tbi truck or ramcharger. 88 or 89 they started and swap that into the 81 shouldn't cost more then a couple hundred from pnp or other junkers.

easiest would be to head to your local junkyard and get the tbi off an 88 and later dodge. That being said i dont think they really knew what they were doing in those years but for maybe a 100 bucks cant go wrong.
