what about fly wheel and clutch did this was a nitemare
wound up putting a c6 in it
tore a ringgear up every 4th starter drive got real good at taking it apart
belive a company called L&L products sells a flywheel
that works with the 351 400m bellhousing
a 360 390 fly wheelbolts to 460 need to be balanced to 460
but tooth count on ring gear is wrong why it tore starters up
the fly wheel from later zf 5 speed trucks doesnt fit in early bell housing
i tried machined it for early clutch and turned diameter down still no go

I have a flywheel from a 390 I think, Then I tried to get a starter for a 390 so it matched ring gear. But I found out they all spin the same and depth is the same and same amount of teeth on starter for 351m/400/429/460 and that works with 390, So im not sure. 76 460 should be internally balanced...??

Also I have a centerforce stage 3 11" clutch bolted upto 390 fly wheel. If you end up with flywheel from 390 let me know and ill go through my recites and find the part number for the clutch.

If you mean cross steer , the pitman arm swings out over the leaf and you have watch how much drop is in the arm and limit up travel with bump stop .
With 4" lift only have about 3" clerance over leaf on a hard left turn . Great looken truck .
