Chevy 100amp alternator upgrade for samurai

Hey guys, so I'm upgrading to a chevy alternator using these instructions, seems pretty simple. Just posting for anyone who is looking into doing the swap, I picked up the alternator from Lordco for $101 and I'll post the part number and better wiring pics sunday

Apparently there not as reliable, haha I'm gonna stick with what's tried and true.. Killing an alternator in the middle of nowhere sucks

the 1 wire in my car is ten years old and charges 2 optimas
looked at wireing link i would run a heavy
wire direct to batt from alt as well as hooking up stock wire leave fuseable link in stock harness
if its blowing link means to much amp for harness
you remove it the next weak point will melt

CS130 alternator is more compact than the older SI models. It will work. I have broke 4 stock brackets and 2 chevy brackets that were bent and welded to fit on the SI alts. If you can avoid grinding your bracket... avoid it.

On a positive it will run my HID roof lights and winch away without a problem.
