I slipped...............

I needed a truck for a few jobs right away.
I looked around and couldnt find any Fords that would work for me so i had to buy a Chevy Shitbox.

I cant hardly believe it, but actually it drives and runs pretty decent.
Its got a 454 in it , I wonder what my gas bills going to be?

My old 3500hd 454 wasn't exactly great on fuel but it had a 16ft long 7ft tall box on it.
I had to replace the alternator every year as it got too hot and fried. Had voltage problems with the starter when it was hot (wouldn't start) had to wire in a ford starter solonoid and build a better heat shield for the starter. (this fixed the starting problems)...and the windshield wipers sucked from new....
Other than that the front ends are a bit weak, had to do king pins regularly on mine.
I worked the truck hard but maintained it very well and still went through 3 engines and one trany in about 350,000k.

there is a small pump between tanks on the truck. so it always pumps fuel into the front tank.
