diesel question

what would be a good price to offer for a 92 dodge d250 with a 5.9 cummins automatic 2wd bodys solid 1 little dent in front fender looks like something fell over on it. just under 300 000kms. whole brake system was done within last 5000kms new tires i guess 90% left ext cab long box canopy and winch (i know winch on 2wd?) i guess he wanted to make sure he didnt get stuck . oh and most important its an older fella who owns it and he bought it new to pull his camper, but due to his eyes going bad he is forced to sell it.

i am thinking i would like to make him an offer but i don't want to insult him or pay to much. the thing is i know little about the prices of diesels. i want it to haul my black dodge around with. i was thinking 3500-4000????

I paid 13000 for a 92 diesel 4x4 with 170000 kms about 2 years ago. A 2 wheel drive with that kinda of mileage wont get more than 6000 in real good condition.
