Tranny swap. Engine rebuild/swap.

Anyone interested in doing a swap for my suburban? It's a 700r being replaced by a turbo 350. Also new transfer case. ASAP would be nice. I'm willing to help and do whatever I can, as I have never done such things, yet. But I'd like to learn. And if I take it to a shop, they want me to leave it there and pick it up when it's done. I'd rather get my hands dirty. I'm sure someone out there is looking for some work, no?

I also have a 350 that I wanna rebuild. I have a few ways I may go about doing it, or maybe someone here wants in on it, too? Will eventually lead to an engine swap. So if someone wants some work, has a place to do it, and is willing to show me/help me do the work, I think we can work out a deal.

Maybe post this in a General disscussion area as well. More people would see it and you might get a better response.

Just a thought..

Anytime, really. I work this week until Thursday. Then I have until Jan 4th off. So anytime betwen then. Day, night, I'm free whenever. From now until Thursday, not free until about 5 or 6pm. I'm in Mission, so abby is pretty close which would work.
