Transfer case rebuild

The intermediate shaft bearing in my SJ is gettin loose so i pulled the shaft out and it looks like i gotta split the whole case in order to get to the bearing. I see you can order complete rebuild kits online for like around $100 but iv never taken a t-case apart before so i figured i should ask how complicated it is before i go to town on it. OR... does the little seal in front of the bearing just pop out and the bearing to follow (i didnt want to pull anything off before i knew what i was getting into). Cheers.
