Kinda depends on the person and the situation for me. For the most part I am a never leave anyone behind person but . . . there is always exceptions to the rule. If the person is a dumbass and is . . . needlessly thrashing just for the point of trashing and breaking, is too loaded and shouldn't be mobile anyway, as Pathy stated unmaintained (read P.O.S.) or unqualified and warned off trucks, or people that have been known to leave others . . . otherwise in general dickheads get left behind. I can say I have spent many a night and missed a few "family engagements" helping get others out and having others help get me out.

I'll help whoever and where ever... Like them or not.... If I don't like them I won't travel with them ( cuts down on helping those you don't like)... but regardless if I found them needing help, like'em or not they get my help.

Of course that being said... with my rig I'm not likely to find anyone because they'll be a lot farther in the bush than I can get.
I've done it all ..Just can't remember it .. so I'll have to do it all again..

Its fun leaving people behind, if we didnt do that there would be no to talk about on Monday come web wheelin time...

really depends on the situation, I have taken off with people in the bush still. If they have it under control I usually will ask, or check if they need anything. I would rather be useful than stand around and be a knob.

From my experience people will help. I know a few people that would go to extreme lenghts to help others out. If you go in a group, you won't be left behind...for ovious reasons
If you go alone though, I wouldn't count on others to help. Sometimes if you don't ASK for help, you don't get help and sometimes even if you ask, you still don't it happened to me.

I think this is because some people don't really appreciate the help they get. Sometimes recovery equipment and recovery vehicles get damaged in the process and the "nice guy" doesn't always get compensated.
It seems to be only a matter of time untill even the nice guys get tired of being nice
For now, I stop and ask if people need help.
One thing though...don't ask the people that are trying to hot box the truck. They DON'T need your help ...the good stuff get's out when they roll down the window

if their slow I'd leave them behind, but definately keep them accounted for, stop every now and then let them catch up. If they break down I'd definately stop and help
