Dont know what to buy?

Hey
Looking at buying an rc crawler and was wondering if anyone has a Losi mini-rock crawler 1/18 scale, or the ax10 scorpion that trails gear sells? Does anyone know of any other crawlers for the same price? they both go for around $25o bucks
any input on what to buy for that price would be great
thanks

i recently looked into it and it seemed the axial ax10 is the best one for the buck.

The AX10 is very popular and I think it's a good one but just make sure you price out everything you need. I think the kit come without a motor and speed control.

If you go to crawlinbc.com they're pretty serious about rc crawlers and have a thread that details the start-up costs for getting into it with an AX10. Their estimates come in around 500-600 with motor batts chargers etc...

All that having been said, I don't claim to be an expert on crawlers or rc's at all, I just know what I've picked up around the inter-webs...

http://www.rccrawler.com/

Get the ax10 rtc(ready to crawl) it has every thing you need but the batteries.

http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/chassis_selection.html

I have the artr ( almost ready to run) love it. Came with no electronics.

I got mine here.

Look at the short course trucks if you want to go faster and maybe race.

Definitely the best value for your money is the AX10 RTC, they are $269.99. These can be upgraded as you go along, so if you find you want more its easy to modify. Here is a link to the manufacturer http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/ax10rtc/
