Dodge stupidity

Just doesn’t make sense to me. A simple thing like replacing a burnt out headlight. I bought two new replacement head lights and still not working. Had to take it to Dodge and they said I would have never figured it out….the stupid computer code needed to be reset and that will be $69.00

I guess when the headlight goes out there is an error code that has to be reset…how stupid is that?

Did the code that says there is a "loose nut behind the wheel" go away yet ?

I'll bet it didn't.

do you have access to a star scan tool? I dont think a normal OBD tool can reset the BCM.

star scan is the tool that Cummins made for the dodge programing.

If you search on ebay you can usually see them but they are pricey.
