Why Not get a pontoon boat

I have been looking around at all boats to find the right fit. The boat will be on Stave lake 99% of the time. The latest thing I've been reading up on are Pontoon boats. When I talk about them the first thing people say is they are slow. This is not the case. You have no problem water skiing behind them.

Does anyone have thoughts on these? I bet there is a way to put some kind of quad ramp onto one of these

you have any thoughts?

those are cool but if you want a landing craft for quads then get a landing craft for quads. you gotta choose what is more important and go from there.

pontoon boads are lots of fun, you can BBQ on them, swim from them, lunge around, if you get the right ones, there is room for camping on them... etc.

I have rented one a couple of times while up in the Shuswap and had a blast! You ca ski and tube behind them but the one that we had had a hard time getting anyone over 180lbs out of the water. I'm sure that there are better engines and configurations available though.

Those boats are extremley stable and for use on stave lake it would be perfect but that is not the boat that you really want/need do as Kyle suggested and look into a landing craft for the application that you want to use it for I would look at a jet landing craft. That will suit ALL your needs hunting, camping, partying and exploring.
