diffs??

Asking for a buddy he wants to know if anyone knows if 1998 4x4 diffs will bolt into a 2002 4x4.

depends, what truck and axles are we talkin about here ? is it the same style steering? same mounting perch and style ? widths ?

I beleive they changed them in 03, so probably will work.

Definately wont work if they are 1500's, 98 is solid axle 02 is independant.

If its 2500's they are the same truck, 1500 changed in 02, 2500 and 3500 changed in 03.

I would assume that he's talking axles, not center section, outer shafts, a arms, bla bla bla......
