i work on bikes for a liveing and we have so many quads come in that run the farm gas and they run like ass with it in...im not sure itf its the die or what it is..and on the sport quads its real bad...and usualy when i rebulid a motor u can tell if they have been running low octane as everything is black and ulgy on the inside..every quad is different ..but i figure for the extra few pennys it takes to fill it up it really cant hurt ..and premium will always keep better if the machine sits..

Chevron 94 as always. To bad its not the old pink 94 that burned your eyes when running. The good old days.

the dye in fuel makes it heavier so that may be the issue there. i have run all fuel grades in mine and never noticed a difference one way or the other.

I use mid grades (usually 91) as this is what I run in my everyday driving vehicles and while I do not get much if any milage improvements, the noise level drops a touch.

i dont doubt that some is. its just 87 octane with a dye added to make it identifiable.

Farm gas is marked non taxed below grade gas that usualy is not even 87 octane buy time it hits the under ground tanks or the farm and it most of the time very dirty fuel.
