dirtbike reggie????

do you have to register a dirtbike???? dumb question i know, but when i thought about it, i couldnt remember if a dirtbike(motocross/offroad, not dual purpose....)needs to be registered for ownership????

its a '91 KX125.... im gettin one in a trade deal, and i dont know if i need to sign papers????

im pretty sure not as it will never see pavement, but like i said idk

no paper work.but make sure u get a bill of sale with his info and the bikes serial # on it ..

yes you need to have liability insurance on it to ride off of paved roads it is called APV45

thanks again guys! really appreciate the help. i just happen to stumble across this....http://www.icbc.com/registration-lic...icles/off-road
it says that an "atv" may need a permit, but above that it says dirtbikes and dune buggies cannot be licensed or insured

thats different thats on road insurance were talking off road liability insurance when i worked for towing co we towed and impounded lots of atv and dirt bikes that police checked for ins check in atv forum

just search liability ins 2nd post has info you want

In Kelowna, Capri Insurance sells : All terrain vehicle off road liability insurance that meets B.C. forest service road requirements. 125 a year but you can buy for shorter terms.
