Atleast it wasn't another burned out hulk up there but people need to learn that its not usually if u get stuck but when. But if u get pulled out twice and go back in again then maybe u should be stuck all night.

Intelligence seems to be in short supply these days eh? If a dude can afford a chev 3500 to fuck up and the liquid courage to put him in a bad spot more then once then he can afford to pull his own damn truck out with a professional recovery service. I cant and a good amount of people here cant either so being the informed broke ass people we are we stay out of there with trucks that shouldnt be in there.
Bottom line is you make your bed you sleep in it.

I would bail that guy out in a second. I have the truck and equipment to do it. However...I'm at least 6 hours away from Stave, and from the sounds of it, he's out anyway.

well said but i will also add that common sense also keeps you out of there. If people on this board where responsible for pulling every fukwad out of there we couldnt afford to wheel this isnt a fuking charity so poostang i think you are wrong if that retard got in there he can find the money to get himself out. If it where one of us from the board in there maybe a different story help a brother out and gauranteed he will appriciate it and toss a 26 or a case your way.

I have heard so much about stave. Where abouts is it? How far from mission. I just gotta stock 78' bronco on a/t 32's with a 460. But I gotta winch and wouldn't mind going to check this place out.

less than 2 days after I got my truck, I went to stave. But I also brought my dad along with his dodge, and I never went anywhere where he wouldn't be able to pull me out. Good thing too since I did end up getting stuck when it popped outta 4 wheel drive.. the linkage was loose. I went up again last week, alone, so I stayed away from the bigger holes.. ended up helping regulate pull a ford outta the mud. Then I got stuck on the way out. But I got pulled out too.

Anyways, I'm just sayin what goes around comes around. And by helping someone out, makes someone else that much more willing to help you. But if you can't help yourself, then you shouldn't rely on other people to help you. Guy in that dually.. couldn't help himself. Not prepared, not thinking. Let him use his brain to figure out a way. Let him go to people and say.. "If I gave you some beer/money would you help me outta this mess? I'm in to far over my head here.. help." Then sure, help him.. Gotta learn one way or the other.

A couple of falls ago I was hunting west of WL when I came across a couple of hunters from Mission , they were stuck in a mud hole.

I went and pulled them out and helped them change a flat they got trying to get out.

Guess i should have asked them for some beer and money before I pulled them out?

Ill keep that in mind from now on..............................

little different of a situation i think. dudes hunting accidently get stuck versus some douchetard rippin through no mans land in a broken 4wd dually with no recovery gear. Obviously we would all help out case number 1 if we came across it but i'm not peelin myself off the couch to help case number 2.

Why were the hunters more important?
They didnt have to be there ,they could have stayed in Mission?
They still got stuck and needed help out just like the other guy.
They also drove somewhere they shouldnt have.
