As Tuna said, nobody got paid, and the thanks was a quiet and shy type of "thank you".

With that being said, I do understand his situation (age, experience etc), so I will give him a break. Hopefully his folks will push him in the direction of "the right thing to do", but I won't be losing any sleep over it.

Somebody else brought out a box of beer after the truck was on solid ground, so to whoever that was, I thank you. I don't normally drink on the trail, but considering what I and others went through, I sure was nice.

That's awesome, not only for the lake but for the kid who lost the truck in there. A lot of people would've just left him to fry in that mess, I'm betting he's learned a valuable lesson from all this. Amazing work guys

yea, i guess alls well that ends well, but if it were to happen to me, there woulda been coolers of beer out there for everyone and i woulda taken all you guys out for dinner AT LEAST to show my graditute for getting my truck out of a lake, but hopefully i never have to go down that road and end up at the point where i need an emence amount of help to get my truck out,

but its ppl like you guys that make everyone else realize that 4x4ers arnt out there to destroy the earth, only to take advantage of it and to help others out in there time of need,
