I would only support cleaning up wheeling trails and destination area's.

Why does your group always clean up West stave FRS when the lake is full and the water is all the way up to the road? Never made any sense to me.

Do a clean up on the trails and play grounds where we play. Do that and I will be there to lend a hand.

I don't know how or why June was picked for the W Stave lake cleanup. I'll ask. We could hold one when the water levels are low and do the flats but, well, there is no shortage of garbage to cleanup without touching the flats.

For Syvester road, we are considering holding a cleanup event on Saturday, April 23rd, which is the day after earth day. Thought it would be good for the news.

and how many quads do you own to apportion the blame to quaders in general is no different than saying all wheelers are irresponsible in the most part from what I have seen the majority of quaders clean up after themselves. I will agree with you about the Hikers though they are a bunch of pigs.

The only group of people that I can identify leaving garbage and trashing stuff are assholes.

Otherwise, in my humble opinion, all off road motorized and non motorized users need to stick together rather than point fingers. Good luck with that, I know.

I was talking to a couple of guys that I have worked with for the last decade about the association and the magazine and these guys are mountain bikers. Well, I learned, once again, that we were not on the same page as far as accessing and enjoying our back country.

It's ok for them to drive to where ever, unload their bikes and do as they please, but motor cycles are the worst they say. Of course they neglect to recognize that motorcycles probably created that trail that they ride on 30 years ago.....

Anyway, no shortage of fun in this sport.

Good job!

It is unfortunate that so few people recognize what wheelers do on a regular basis.

I guess when people ask "what did you do on the weekend" we should say, "well, I went up west Stave Lake to pick up garbage" instead of "I went Wheelin'".
