The District of Mission media blitz is a go. Clean it up and go hat in hand to the provincial government to fund their version of pay to play.

More than a Media blitz gate locked at ten absolutely no fires propain only
All the trails are closed have signs stating so anyway due to logging and then fire season screws up those boaters that like to stay out for sunset
But no gard at gate so the thieves can still bike in to break into your cars

Ok try reading the link you are posting King 5
Especially this part i copied and pasted
Please Note: Fire bans and restrictions apply to all BC Parks, Crown lands and private lands, but do not apply within the boundaries of a local government that has forest fire prevention bylaws in place and is serviced by a fire department. Please check with local government authorities for any other restrictions before lighting any fire. ------------------------
That part of stave is part of municipality of mission and they say no fires
I didn't get any fines because I read the pamphlet handed out by the police
That said no fires other than at Sayers in the payed campground in suplied fire pits without a permit so I didn't have. A fire
So anyone thinking of going to stave check with district of mission

And the pamphlet states
The district of mission burning bylaw 2975-1996
Regulates fires in the municipality .this includes the stave west area
With the exception of the Sayres lake provincial recreational area .
A permit from the municipality is required for any burning to be lawful
That's where I got the idea that you can't have a fire at stave bud

Ya no burning on flats without permit from mission...
Security was turning away people last nite saying no more camping allowed
Stave was pretty empty this may long as well, empty like its never been on a May long
It seems the rcmp are enforcing the stave west action plan .. Clean it up, make it a place for hikers and cyclists... Stuff like that... No wheelers no rednecks

Still doesnt explicitly say that you cannot have a campfire. says clearly that with a permit you can. soooo...not a campfire ban. just more regulations.

Well this has been ramping up for years. Now that the funding is there to enforce with an iron fist, its happening.

It will work, other municipalities will be right behind them.

I've said before and I'll say it again ORV parks are our destiny.

If only the fuck tards could just understand what they are doing to the rest of us.

Do you really think they are going to give you a permit Hahahahah
call it a ban call it legislation call it regulation call it whatever you want
Comes down to have a fire get a fine
And unlike what you said you will not win in court
Keep up giving out such solid advice
