meager creek hotsprings? Question???

can anyone help me out!

a few weeks ago a buddy and i took our trucks wheelin, went up both east and west side of harrison, went to clear creek h.springs, sloquet h.springs and took the west side up to pemberton and then wanted to go to meager creek hotsprings. well we got to KM9 and they said road was closed and everyone we talked to said you cant go there the bridge is out! well we decided to take the "closed road" anyway. when we got to KM39 were the turnoff is to meager creek h.springs there was a bridge witha big gate with some dude living in a trailer on the other side? we decided to walk from this point cause of the gate at the bridge until this guy came out and told us to turn around the springs are closed!

I wana see these hotsprings! Is there anyway around this, or has anyone been there recently and can tell me whats going on???

thanks
drew

Ignore the dude at the gate and walk right in.

Last I heard they tore all the tubs out, but that was few years ago, so ......

The hot springs are closed the last bridge was washed out and is impassable even by foot. The tubs were taken out a few years ago to rebuild new ones an was reopened until the big flood that happened at pemberton. Thats why it is still closed. There is no anticipated repair date to make a new bridge.

might be a good place to build a tougher bypass through the creek so only a few people can get in

isn't pebble creek a warm spring, and also very obsolete and difficult to find. If I remember correctly, the spring has multiple vents at the bottom of a shallow creek, and is only possible to get there by foot. You have to hike up the creek a few hours-ish, and when you get to the area of the spring, you wade around the creek bed untill you find the vents, and there is no tubs. I could be wrong though....anyone else with recent info????

i was thinkin of going to pebblecreek hotsprings but i herd meager was way better!

By far Sloquet Hotsprings was extreamly nice! That would make a good lil 4x4 meet! start in harrision, visit sloquet and end in pemberton!
