Pimpin!

After the carnage I have definitly contmplated diffrent things. One was a cage but if I get into somewhere with the machine that i need that its time to pull out one of the trucks with big tires/exo/gearing. So the thing i argeed upon is a set of tracks. Add somemore weight to the bottom of the machine and keep the center of gravity down. Going to make it real tough to flip it on its ass and getting it stuck will be a thing of the past.

The quad is parked till my ribs heal completly. Got to build new bumpers and rack supports anyways. Going to get back to my original though for getting the quad in the first place, search and rescue. With last winter I can now justify the tracks due to call outs and the amount of snow that kept us out of the back country.

Got to get a stick for all my rigs now "If You Can Read This Flip Me Over" or "Rubber Side Down"

How is the body healing? Going to be riding before summer?

Have you checked out Royal Distributing's track kits? Best I've seen so far, no sliders, just bogies so they can be used all year round.

Body is healing well. Going to try riding the quad this weekend. Not nearly what I used to be able to ride. But little by little. Going to be doing most of my wheeling in the kick for this year Im thinking.

As for tracks www.atvtracks.net looking at the cat tracks. Just looking at there simplisity. Got a chance to look at the mattracks today. Big coin but some serious suspension within them. Im thinking my days of rock crawling the quad are long gone. Hence y the kick is going back on the road. BUt I can see some serious back country travel this year. Im thinking the tracks should keep the quad rubber side down.
