Nothing yet with the street tires. Afraid of damaging a tire in the dirt. Swapping the tires to a conti motard tire. These track tires are grippy but very soft. And are burning up fast

new back tire, the track tire wore quickly, huge difference in cornering. new integrated rear lamp with turn signals. got pulled over, piggers didnt like my oem factory ktm rear lamp setup, this non dot oem one though is ok, if that makes sense...... went a tooth up in the front. nice balance between speed and power. ordered some better protective gear to ward off the rash.

bike was kickass. I was looking at sportbikes last summer, just kinda tossing around the idea. my buddy asked if I'd sell it. told him straight up no. well he knew what i was looking at, showed up with an 09 fz6 with 5,000kms a few weeks ago to trade me. so we did a straight across trade. I'll miss my orange bastard dearly, but at least a buddy owns it. well my new beast ( i know it doesnt have the cool factor)still a nice bike plenty power and confortable riding position:

bike is mint,
had to do some things:
ditch rear signals for integrated brake/stop/turn
get rid of the abortion of a rear fender/plate holder "THING"
black out exhaust, plastidip side covers, rad covers
black out windshield
upgrade headlamps
not much more to do. I want to find exhaust but anything good is 1/5th the cost of the bike for no real gains, bike is very quiet except at 13,000rpm

fuckin theif stole my bike monday afternoon at lunch from front door of the shop at the dealership!! key unfortunately was in it, 14yrs now i have left the key in my car or bike, I park right in front of the shop door, bike was 20ft in plain view of the closest employee, thief hopped ( helmetless) on and was grabbing gears before anyone could do a thing. My wife had a picture circulating near every local fb group within minutes, before I got off the phone with the cops, tips were pouring in of sightings.

I chased that fuck for 3 hrs, only minutes behind every time.his trail finally went cold. and I gave up, we spend the next 6 hrs searching and canvassing, before the end of the night we had the name and pictures of the thieve(s) with help of the public and tips , Theifs car broke down at walmart, not a ten minute walk away, about 30 minutes prior, his gf posted about going for a ride on a black crotch rocket, and we were told they didnt have the means to own or purchase a bike. ( meth, helluva drug) . yesterday morning , I got a call from a local, he found the bike out for a hike. It was stashed about 300m up a hiking trail, i was there within minutes. Bike was is perfect condition, no damage whatsoever, was stashed with care and the key missing, I think they must have planned to go get it at some point. I was very lucky, and all it costed me was re-keying charge.

Cops were of no help at all, Trail being a small town, I near expected maybe to see one cop out, or respond, but nope they were updated as I was to the sightings and I didnt even see one. They didnt want a pic of the bike, decription or anything just a plate number, and If I owed money on it. When I found it, they weren't interested to come see it, even ask where it was, just asked if there seemed to be any damage,I said no, and they said go ahead and take it and thanks for the call. useless.......

I have the names and pictures, and I'm working on addresses, we are tracking these pukes down. Through sharing the thieves pictures, they were id'd in another truck theft last week of a local couple.
